This Is Pristine: Debut Album & Music Video

Please show some love and support for our friends in This Is Pristine!!!
LESS THAN THREE WEEKS LEFT; ALL OR NOTHING CAMPAIGN
>> Here's the direct link to the Kiskstarter

This Is Pristine is comprised of members, Steph Dilts and Kelly Abbass. Kelly is the main vocalist for the duo. Steph is the all around musician of the duo - being proficient at guitar, bass and ukulele. She also plays viola, sings harmonies, and lead vocals on occasion. // We have been creating music for over 13 years now - Sharing our combined voice through the many songs we have written together, and the personal touch we have added to a variety of cover songs - done in our own unique style.

In the summer of 2014 we recorded a Tom Petty double cover with producer Sean Gregory of Sean Gregory Music Productions. We also shot and released a video for the track. That can be seen on our YouTube profile, as well as below: YouTube.com/ThisIsPrisine // The plan was to follow that up with a full album. But life kind of takes you all over the place. And we are sorry we've kept you waiting. But now it's time.

We are heading back into the studio with Sean Gregory once more - Bringing back some of the originals that have been appreciated over the years - As well as all new original material - And likely a cover or two, done the Pristine way. // We have been asked for more - We've wanted more - Now it's time for more. This Is Pristine.

Episode 35 - Elaine Kapogines

How do 20th century creatives develop culture in the 21st century? Elaine Kapogines (creator of The Holistic Parent) sat down with me over coffee, so we could do some self-analytics. We checked the numbers on engagement with our respective projects, and our lives outside of them. This chat was me realizing that the struggle is shared, because of Elaine’s kindness, sharing & expertise… and we had a few laughs. How about THAT one, gang? #hashtag

Episode 34 - Anna Beard

Freelance writer, news junkie and localvore - also, 80s-born pop-culture fanatic - Kitchener’s Anna Beard joins me on this episode. We started off talking in-depth about coffee and coffee shops, and via going into Anna’s dating-life, we wound up revealing a story I never thought i’d share about dating AND baristas. We go through dating a bit more. There’s a bit of stuff missing at the end that we ran out of time for, a little more politics, Sisqo’s “Thong Song”, mix CDs; but I clipped in at the very very end, an epilogue shouting out to our GHA friends who make that delicious DETOUR coffee!

Episode 33 - Sandra Dynka

In this episode, I present to you a look at what’s under the proverbial ‘dirndl’ of KW’s Miss Oktoberfest 2018-2019, Sandra Dynka. What I mean by that, is that we get to know the inner thoughts and feelings of Sandra; whom among many titles (professional tennis player-currently coach, health-foodie, public figure and such), is a wonderful and complex human being. Where do our self-imposed struggles come from? Does that even get answered in this podcast or ever in life? How many of my jokes had to be cut? These are all territories explored, over laughs and coffee. Enjoy! -td

Episode 32 - the Ape Audio boyzz

I’d say about 95% of my episodes I could publish, and forget about. And then there are episodes like this, where family will let me know they’re starting to listen to my show, and I vomit in my mouth a little bit… At the same time, I relish (and sriracha mustard) putting this little peppercorn-bing-bong of an episode out there. It’s podcasty as shit, dude! The Ape Audio boyzz are a riot. Enjoy the bro-down with Christian, Ian, Patrick and I, recorded on May 26th!

Episode 31 - Amanda Muse

Amanda Muse is a well-known, Toronto-based Public Figure, with a long-running YouTube series, as well as (more recently) a discussion podcast "The Sandwich". Todd has an endless list of things to learn from this troubadour... but with the time allotted, we got a very sweet discussion about coffee, the shop-talk between media-content-creators, and more than anything, the inner journey of media-content-creators. Is that good? At the very least, Amanda has a REALLY noice voice to hear during coffee time. Follow @AmandaMuse on IG. (we literally NEVER do that in an ep. desc.).

Vault #15 - Cuneyt Yetkiner

THE RAPTORS WON!!! What better way to celebrate, than by pre-drinking (coffee, or whatever you like, don't endulge and drive) and enjoying this vault episode I recorded with Cuneyt, at his apartment in Waterloo, summer 2016. He performs a beautiful instrumental at the end, called "Yakamoz", and I don't think I had MORE streams on YouTube, than when this episode was originally posted, with that song. It's majestic, like the mofo playing it. Enjoy. Love, TD.

Episode 30 - Cuneyt Yetkiner

I've known Cuneyt Yetkiner going on a decade and a half, a Turkish delight, and if you live in the region, chances are you've seen him play, everywhere... He's a hard-working, talented and kind gentleman as far as I've known at least! We did a fast-planned get-together and chat for this episode and it is very much Organized Kaos (the Sunday duo from back-when, with Cuneyt and Jessie T), but with he and I sipping water, chatting about: memories, guitars, the decline of musical quality, the genius of Stevie Wonder... Todd does an impersonation of Seal... and more!

Episode 29 - Rashmi Sanjay

Rashmi Sanjay has an awe-inspiring story, which has been recounted in The Holistic Parent, and talked about on Rashmi's amazing new radio program "In Conversation with Rashmi" which takes care in inviting others to share their story. Without being TOO tacky, I invited Rashmi to recount her ordeal as a parable for perspective. We chatted about our shared principles in life, human connection and more! She was a hoot, and a joy to talk with. Enjoy!
